Samantha Pelosi is the Chief Compliance & Regulatory Officer at Mojito, a leading web3 marketplace specializing in the minting and sale of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). With over 25 years of experience in legal, compliance, and policy roles, Samantha has developed deep expertise in financial crimes compliance, blockchain technology, and payments regulation. At Mojito, she is instrumental in building a robust compliance program, managing the company's licensing efforts across all 49 U.S. states, and advising leadership on risk mitigation, payment processing, and product development. Samantha also plays a key role in engaging with national regulators to ensure Mojito’s operations meet industry standards.

Before joining Mojito, Samantha held senior positions at several prominent organizations, including consulting firm Guidehouse, the American Bankers Association (BAFT), the Federal Reserve Board, and the U.S. Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Her experience spans a wide range of financial services, from cryptocurrency and digital assets to banking and money transmission. Samantha has led initiatives that shaped global best practices in financial crime compliance, payments, and blockchain. She has also played a pivotal role in regulatory enforcement actions and policy development at the highest levels. Samantha began her career at Morrison & Foerster, where she focused on international project finance, corporate law, and export controls. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
