Keith Payne Jr.
Founder and Principal, Champion Holdings, LLC

Keith Payne founded Payne Holdings, formerly Champion Holdings LLC, in 2016, where he serves as Principal. He has over a decade of experience in commercial and residential development, business development, and consulting, and has successfully participated in and is currently developing real estate across the United States.

Keith is co-founder and managing member of 4th Down Partners LLC, which in Spring of 2014 partnered on Stadium Square, a $300M mixed-use development in Maryland. His portfolio also includes the current developments of THE VUE in Charlottesville, Virginia; The Shops at Russell Branch, in partnership with The Peterson Companies & Caves Valley Partners, a $20M development in Virginia; The Paramount Baltimore, a $70M development project in Maryland; and Whitaker Park Lofts, a $30M development in North Carolina.

Keith received a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online. He has also completed the RE3 Institute Real Estate Seminar at George Mason University School of Business and, from 2014–2017, was a guest professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law.

A native of Northern Virginia, Keith resides in Maryland with his wife Shawna and three children. He is a University of Virginia Football alumnus, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, and currently serves on the Board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
