Justin H. Jackson is a successful entrepreneur, who in 2003 started JHJ Facilities an award-winning facilities maintenance firm which provides facilities operations and maintenance (O&M) services to government, industrial, educational and commercial spaces throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Since its inception JHJ Facilities has held prestigious contracts with some of the most recognizable agencies in the federal government (i.e., Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Homeland Security, the Department of the Army, and General Services Administration). Since forming JHJ Facilities, Mr. Jackson has acquired three (3) additional companies enveloping them into the operational infrastructure of his firm while strategically expanding the breadth of services being offered to his clients.

Although JHJ Facilities continued to provide services to federal and state governments, most of its growth was the result of services to numerous Washington, D.C., public charter schools, as well as several institutions of higher education and medical facilities-including several of D.C.’s largest non-profit facilities.

In 2018, as JHJ Facilities further expanded its operations and services to include MEP engineering, construction management and real estate development, JHJ Facilities was rebranded as Arkatype Group, a Small, Women and Minority (SWaM) and MBE Certified firm based in Virginia.

Mr. Jackson is a devout man of faith who believes in “doing well while doing good”. His lifelong commitment to community service has afforded him both executive board and volunteer roles at such organizations as Bread for the City, Martha’s Kitchen, Sasha Bruce, The Carpenter’s Shelter along with a variety of church ministries.

Mr. Jackson graduated from Howard University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife Dr. Jeanna Jackson and two sons Joshua and Jonathan.
