Justin H. Jackson is a successful investor, entrepreneur, and creative strategist recognized for his transformative leadership across the construction, facilities management, real estate development, communications, and media industries. With a unique ability to bridge business innovation and cultural storytelling, Mr. Jackson has built a multifaceted career that continues to impact public and private sectors nationwide.


Mr. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Radio, Television, and Film Production from the prestigious Howard University. Early in his career, he made his mark in the television and film industries as a producer, director, talent developer, and host. His production credits include the acclaimed Dave Chappelle Show (Season 2) and projects with major networks such as WJLA (ABC-7 Washington, D.C.), MTV Networks, NBC, and Comedy Central. His feature film portfolio includes Son of the South, executive produced by Spike Lee, and The Last Ranger, written by Daryl Spivey.


In front of the camera, Mr. Jackson served as Co-Host of Redskins Weekly on The CW and a regular contributor with Larry Michael on Redskins Nation (NBC Universal Sports Washington), offering industry insight and engaging audiences across platforms. His deep expertise in content development and strategic communications have helped shape culturally resonant programming with broad appeal.


In 2003, Mr. Jackson expanded his entrepreneurial vision by founding JHJ Facilities, now known as Arkatype Group. Launching the company through securing essential capital and federal government contracts, he grew it into an award-winning leader in construction, operations and maintenance, and development services. Under his direction, Arkatype has served high-profile clients including the Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Homeland Security, Department of the Army, and the General Services Administration.


Arkatype’s success is driven by Mr. Jackson’s commitment to:

An expert in growth strategy and operational excellence, Mr. Jackson has overseen the acquisition and integration of three companies, significantly expanding Arkatype’s capabilities and geographic reach across government, industrial, and commercial sectors. He has also built strategic partnerships with national industry leaders such as ABM, Thompson Facilities, Sodexo and Gilbane Inc.


Mr. Jackson is also a principal at HJB Properties, a real estate development firm focused on revitalizing multi-family housing communities in Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and North Carolina. Through forward-thinking management and public-private collaboration, HJB advances sustainable community development and regional economic growth.


Dedicated to social impact, Mr. Jackson actively supports nonprofit organizations including Bread for the City, Educate Fairfax, Second Story, Sasha Bruce, and The Carpenter’s Shelter.
