Diane M. Mucci, Ph.D. is a transformational higher education leader with more than 20 years of progressive experience advancing student success, community partnerships, and institutional excellence.
She currently serves as Provost of the Annandale Campus at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), one of the nation's largest community colleges, where she provides strategic leadership for academic programs and campus operations serving over 18,000 students annually.
Dr. Mucci is deeply committed to workforce development, dual enrollment, and expanding access to education across diverse communities. She is an active leader in regional community engagement.
A Ph.D. graduate in Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, and Microbiology from the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Mucci brings both scientific expertise and executive leadership to her work advancing educational opportunity and community impact.
