At Educate Fairfax, we exist solely to support Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) students, educators, and families.
We are a community connector, bringing together educators, families, businesses, and partners to meet challenges and create opportunities in real time. Together, we make sure every FCPS student has the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.
A Shared Vision for Student Success
This fall, Educate Fairfax was proud to sponsor and help host the annual State of Our Schools event alongside our community supporters. The event, led by FCPS Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid, highlighted the incredible accomplishments happening across our schools and the challenges still ahead.
Dr. Reid emphasized what we know to be true—when our community comes together to invest in our students and educators, everyone benefits. The partnership between FCPS, Educate Fairfax, and our generous supporters helps ensure every student has a path to success, regardless of circumstance.
Investing in Success Across Our Schools
Last year, thanks to the generosity of donors and business partners, Educate Fairfax invested $1.27 million back into our schools.
Through programs focused on our three core pillars—student access and opportunity, teacher and staff support, and alumni and community engagement—we are helping to create pathways to success for every student in every classroom.
Innovation in Action: Educate Fairfax Grants
One of our key initiatives, Educate Fairfax Grants, empowers teachers and school staff to bring innovative ideas to life. These grants help educators create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
In the 2024–2025 school year alone, Educate Fairfax Grants reached more than 36,000 students across 100 schools and centers. From robotics clubs and STEM projects to literacy programs and inclusive classroom initiatives, these grants turn great ideas into real opportunities for FCPS students.
Yet for every project we fund, there’s another we must turn away. We can currently only fund about half of the requests we receive—and that’s why we need your help.
